About Friday Action Hour

Since May of 2020, Unitarian Universalists across North Carolina have gathered every Friday at 11:00 for our weekly Friday Action Hour. Since that time, our community has grown to partners across the state (and sometimes even the country!). We welcome all who are committed to the work of justice and collective liberation in North Carolina.

Here's how it works! Every Friday we recap the past week and then take action, always moving in alignment with our state and national partners. Actions include calling elected officials, writing Letters to the Editor, learning & amplifying important information, etc. A briefing and google doc give you all the information and resources you need to be effective! And along the way we listen to justice music, deepen our relationships, and grow our organizing skills.
