It's Time to UU the Vote in North Carolina!

Dear Friend,

We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy during this pandemic. In this moment, we are certainly called to realize the truth of our interconnection, but also the powerful love that lives within each of us. A powerful love that can heal this world.

Yes, we are hurting. But we have love on our side and it's time to UU the Vote in North Carolina!

UUA Provides $12,500 in Funding to UU the Vote in NC

We're excited to share the news that the UUA has made a $12,500 commitment to support our state's UU the Vote work this year! This money will help Forward Together to fund additional staffing hours, direct actions and our community partnerships.

Thanks to Congregations That Are Involved with UU the Vote in NC

A special thanks to our UU the Vote Captains across NC who are leading this work in 15 congregations and growing! Their passion and commitment has inspired this UUA grant.

Now that we've got the financial support, it's time to get to work!

Please stay tuned for upcoming opportunities to combat voter suppression and support voter engagement in our state.

National UU the Vote "How We Thrive" Webinar

What does it mean to practice our UU principles during a pandemic? What are we doing to guarantee free and fair elections in states targeted by voter suppression?

Join the UUA's national UU the Vote Team for a live “How We Thrive!” webinar on Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00 pm (Eastern Time) featuring

  • musicians from across the country,
  • a message from UUA President Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray, and
  • opportunities for you to get involved and make meaningful impacts in 2020!

Join the "How We Thrive" Virtual Choir

Music is powerful. It's there for us when we need strength and inspiration to keep going and when we need rest and discernment to determine our next move.

Join the nationwide “How We Thrive” virtual choir, by adding your voice to the powerful song “We Shall be Known” by MaMuse.

Hope to see you on May 12th!

May love be our guide,
